I had a lot of fun making this haunted house. I started off with some cardstock that had a
wood grain print on it and then embossed it with Tim Holtz wood plank embossing
folder and then sponged on some distress inks. I didn’t have the rooftop die so
I had to be creative and got out my rosette die and used it as the roof top.
I painted a plain wood plaque with black soot paint and when
that was dry I put globs of glue onto it and place the moss on top. The fence was made using the on the fence die
that I then colored in with pumice stone paint and while still wet sprinkled on
pumice stone embossing powder and heat set.
I also used the same technique on the tree (Tim Holtz die). The bats
were from the Halloween Shadows die and the graveyard also. I used the mini
scaredy cat die and mini pumpkin die and cut them with shrink dinks and after
they shrank I painted them with distress paints. A whole lot of Tim products
were used here.
