12 Tags of 2012- July

This technique did not like me one bit. I tried this 8 times and this was the last one I did and figured this was as good as it was going to get. Tim makes it look so easy :-) I used the following Tim Holtz dies: Rosette, flourishes, and vintage lace.

My niece Abby's first year

These are some of my favorite layouts I made for a scrapbook of my niece Abby. I used paper from DCWV Once upon a Time stack and K&CO Que Sera Sera stack.

12Tags of 2012- June

For June's tag I wanted to use a picture of someone I knew instead of the one Tim posted so I went through some of my grandma's photographs and found an extra copy of this one of her sister Edith. I  didn't have the nibs Tim used so I just used my distress markers and love how this technique turned out. I also didn't have the stains he used except for the picket fence, so for the back ground I used the white distress stain along with distress inks. I really enjoyed this technique of tinting photos, it really adds a neat effect.

My May version of the 12 tags of 2012. I just used white tissue paper and using an ink blending tool, colored in the background.
